As part of the Stand by me campaign on hate crime Mencap in Northern Ireland held a community event in Omagh during Learning Disability Week 2012.

The event brought people with a learning disability, the PSNI and local agencies together to look at how we can stand together to prevent and tackle hate crime experienced by people with a learning disability.
