Volunteer

Lucy Ingraham and Barry GowanJoin LiveNet and you can help young people and adults with a learning disability learn – and have fun!

By being part of Mencap’s LiveNet project, you can help deliver workshops to people with a learning disability to support them to use ICT. From taking photographs with digital cameras to using Facebook and getting active on the Wii fit – our sessions are always full of fun, as well as promoting learning, getting active and staying healthy.

Emma Jamison, Co Fermanagh is a young adult with a learning disability who volunteers as part of the LiveNet project. This is her LiveNet volunteer story.

We need more volunteers to help us to make a real difference to the lives of people with a learning disability and the people that support them.
